Power XL Table v25.1 Release Notes

Power XL Table now supports cascading dropdowns in selection columns. When a parent column is set, the available values in the dependent column are dynamically filtered based on the selection in the parent column. This enables more intuitive and efficient data entry.

Only one SmartFilter containing the parent ID is now needed to retrieve the data table, as the slicer creates cascading maps.

The new Auto Refresh setting allows you to control the automatic refresh of the report after saving changes.

You can now set a value below 200 in the Number of Rows Loaded on Scroll field for the Enable Lazy Load setting, with the minimum value being 15.

Power XL Table now retains the state of grouped columns when navigating between report pages.

If the Apply Filters to Entire Report setting is enabled in the table where a value is saved, the row will remain visible in other visuals.

The issue of infinite scrolling in the loading pop-up for Power BI Desktop in direct query mode has been resolved.

This release fixes the issue with picture and shape format tabs that caused the designer ribbon settings and groups to display incorrectly.

Power XL Table can handle up to 30,000 data rows. If the Smart filter returns more than 30,000 rows, only the values are loaded, and the text from the Displayed Column is not included.

When adding a new column using the Personalize Visual option, the column header now displays correctly.

• Once data validation is cleared for any column in the data sheet, it does not get reapplied, the set data validation is retained upon saving.
• Setting the data validation for a numeric column to Any Value ensures that the validation is accurately retained once saved.

This release addresses the issue of slow data rendering after writeback.

Using the Save Layout > Discard Changes actions no longer corrupts the table formulas.

The visual no longer freezes after pasting a large amount of data, and the warning pop-up can now be successfully closed.

The CTRL + down arrow key function now correctly navigates to the last row of the data table. However, with rich text columns, additional scrolling is required to view the cell selection in the last row.

In this version, rich text columns now appear the same as other columns in the data table. Values in the rich text column can only be formatted using the Rich Text dialog settings.

Power XL Table now correctly handles copying and pasting values from MS Word into rich text columns.
