Power XL Table v26.1 New Features

AI Chat |
Power XL Table now includes AI Chat, which lets you ask questions about your report data in plain language and get instant answers. Select the AI Chat icon on the toolbar to open the chat panel. See Use AI Chat for more information. |
Row Filter Column Setting |
A new Row Filter Column setting has been added at the column level. By default, row selection is based on the key column value. When you turn on this setting for a column, row selection filters based on that column's value instead. If no column has this setting turned on, the visual uses the key column as before. |

Timezone-Aware Timestamp Handling |
Power XL Table now sends and displays timestamp data with the user's local timezone offset. Previously, timestamps were sent in UTC (Zulu) format, which caused incorrect values to be saved for users in non-UTC timezones. |

Hyperlink Does Not Open in Edit Mode |
Hyperlinks now open in a new browser tab when the visual is in Edit mode. |
Invalid Date Format After Region Change |
Power XL Table no longer throws a data validation error on date values when the Region setting is changed to a locale that uses a period (.) or hyphen (-) as the date separator, such as German, Hungarian, or Dutch. |
Protect Sheet Breaks Lazy Load |
The loading indicator no longer gets stuck when Protect Sheet and Lazy Load are both enabled. Records now load correctly when scrolling down. |
Deleting a Formula Triggers IFISROWDIRTY |
In Edit mode, deleting a formula from a custom column no longer causes the column to fill down and incorrectly trigger IFISROWDIRTY across all rows. |
Filtering Does Not Work with Multiple Tables |
Filtering now works correctly when the Power XL Table visual includes columns from multiple tables. Previously, related child table records were not filtered when a row was selected. |
