This topic describes the new features, enhancements, and resolved issues for Budget Planner v1.2.0, released on May 31, 2024.

Budget Planner v1.2.0 New Features

Title Description

Quantity and Price Planning

The Manage budget values, quantities and prices with PXL function allows you to manage budget values using quantity and price. This option provides an alternative template for adding budget amounts. When you modify the quantity, price, or value for each budget line, the application automatically calculates the corresponding results. For example, if a subscription license costs $50 and you plan to sell 1,500 licenses in January, input the following values against the GL account: Quantity = 1500 and Price = 50. The application will calculate the total amount, in this case, $75,000. You can adjust any two components to calculate the third.

Additionally, the Smart Lock drop-down field allows you to keep one component constant while modifying another for recalculations.

If you manage budget values in the Budget Values screen, the application will automatically calculate the quantity and price as well. The quantity will default to 1, and the price will match the budget value.

See Manage Budget Values by Quantity and Price for more information.

Goal Seek

The Manage budget values by GL accounts’ category with Demx function enables simulations via goal seek. You can calculate related input values based on a known output value. For example, if you set the total revenue to $100,000, the application can calculate the average sales price or total sales quantity based on the specified target.

See Manage Budget Values by GL Accounts (Goal Seek) for more information.

Interactive Commentary

The View Comments function streamlines task and comment management. You can assign tasks to team members, engage in interactive commentary by adding and replying to comments, and receive real-time updates via email notifications.

See Interactive Commentary for more information.
